What is TDEE?

TDEE stands for Total Daily Energy Expenditure. It's the total number of calories you burn each day, combining your BMR (calories burned at rest) with calories burned through physical activity.

What's the difference between BMR and TDEE?

BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the calories you burn doing nothing - just existing. TDEE includes BMR plus all physical activity. TDEE = BMR × activity multiplier.

How accurate is this TDEE calculator?

This calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, considered the most accurate formula. However, individual metabolism varies. Use your TDEE as a starting point and adjust based on real-world results over 2-3 weeks.
